Once an object, abstract or real, is described and pointed out to a person who was blind to it, it becomes obvious and s/he becomes aware. S/he then says, “I can’t believe I didn’t see that before.” Until the mind holistically conceives of the object, especially when it is bigger than the complexity of oneself, it does not exist. The Earth was thought to be flat, and then it became obvious it was spherical. Optical or magicians illusions are a good example of this mental phenomenon. When the truth is seen and the mental model is adroitly manipulated, all becomes clear. It is a point of eureka and a sense of internal embarrassment and humility which often occurs over the fact that it was missed before.
The awareness grows stronger everyday.
